These disclaimers apply to all G-CART vehicles sold by GANELEC (Pty) Ltd and should be read alongside your Owner's Manual.

01General Safety Disclaimer
The G-CART is designed and manufactured for use in accordance with the operating instructions provided. Failure to operate the vehicle safely, responsibly and in accordance with the Owner's Manual may result in serious injury, death or property damage.

02Off-Road Use Disclaimer
Unless specifically certified and registered in accordance with South African legislation, this vehicle is not intended for use on public roads and must only be operated on private property or in areas where such use is legally permitted.

03Driver Responsibility
The owner and operator are responsible for ensuring that every person operating the vehicle is competent, physically capable and familiar with the safe operation of the G-CART.

04Passenger Disclaimer
Passengers must remain seated while the vehicle is in motion and must not exceed the manufacturer's specified seating capacity. Standing on the vehicle while it is moving is prohibited.

05Load Disclaimer
The maximum payload specified by the manufacturer must never be exceeded. Excessive loads may adversely affect braking, steering, stability and vehicle performance.

06Hill & Terrain Disclaimer
Steep slopes, uneven terrain, loose surfaces and wet conditions may reduce vehicle stability and braking performance. Operators should reduce speed and exercise caution under such conditions.

07Speed Disclaimer
The operator must always drive at a speed appropriate for the terrain, weather conditions, visibility and surrounding pedestrians.

08Modification Disclaimer
Unauthorised modifications or alterations to the vehicle, including but not limited to the braking system, steering, suspension, battery, electrical system, controller or chassis, may compromise vehicle safety, void applicable warranties and affect legal liability.

09Battery Disclaimer
Only the charger supplied or approved by GANELEC may be used. Improper charging, unauthorised repairs or physical damage to the lithium battery may create a fire or safety hazard.

10Maintenance Disclaimer
The owner is responsible for ensuring that routine inspections and maintenance are carried out in accordance with the recommended maintenance schedule. Continued operation of a damaged or poorly maintained vehicle may create a safety risk.

11Inspection Disclaimer
The operator should perform a visual inspection before each use, including checking the brakes, steering, tyres, battery charge level and any visible damage. The vehicle must not be operated if a safety-critical defect is identified.

12Children Disclaimer
Children must only operate or ride in the vehicle under appropriate adult supervision and in accordance with the recommendations contained in the Owner's Manual.

13Alcohol & Drugs Disclaimer
The vehicle must never be operated while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any medication that may impair judgement or reaction time.

14Water Disclaimer
The vehicle is not designed for submersion in water or operation in flooded areas. Water ingress may damage electrical components and create a safety hazard.

15Warranty Disclaimer
The manufacturer's warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship only. It does not cover damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, overloading, unauthorised modifications, improper maintenance or use outside the intended operating conditions, subject always to applicable South African law.

16Limitation of Liability
Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes any rights afforded to the Purchaser under the Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable South African legislation. Subject to such legislation, GANELEC shall not be liable for loss or damage arising from misuse, negligence, unauthorised modifications, failure to follow the operating instructions or use of the vehicle beyond its intended purpose.
- Read the Owner's Manual before operating this vehicle.
- Drive responsibly.
- Wear seat belts where fitted.
- Do not exceed the rated passenger or load capacity.
- Reduce speed on slopes and uneven terrain.
- Keep hands and feet inside the vehicle while moving.
- Never operate the vehicle while impaired by alcohol, drugs or medication.
- Inspect the vehicle before each use.
- Never modify safety-critical components.
- This vehicle is intended for use on private property unless otherwise certified for road use.
